With the first set of scamps I decided to use a saturated colour scheme using the 3 primary colours. I quite liked this colour scheme as I thought it was gender neutral, and therefore appealed to a wide audience. Although I like this I don't think it would be something I would use in my final piece because it doesn't quite give the sophisticated look I wanted.
With the second set of scamps I decided to use a muted colour scheme using the secondary colours. Again this is fairly gender neutral, and so appeals to a wide audience. Although I like this colour scheme, I think using the muted colour scheme makes the 2nd design look too dull. I think it would work for the 1st design in my final piece but i'm not sure I would use it because the colours aren't slightly too muted and dull.
Doing this really helped me to decide what type of colour scheme I wanted on my final piece, and helped me realise my designs should be either completely gender neutral or completely aimed at one gender.
